Roadblock - 2
Multiple signs were made for the event by Glen Kleine
, Richmond Kiwanis Club President, so contributors would know
the focus of the roadblock and would become familiar with the
Kiwanis logo.
The afternoon DZ crew pose next to the Children's Champion
sign - one of the Kiwanis Club efforts. All of these girls are
students at Eastern Kentucky University. One of the three major
goals of Delta Zeta Sorority is to provide service.
Tracy Burdett and Lindsay Tucker worked
the roadblock during the morning shift.
Mark Ernst shows a contributor where to display
their receipt so they will not again be asked to contribute.
Megan Pitstick effectively and aggressively sought
contributions.
Mark Calitri's son seemed to enjoy working the roadblock
with Allison Runyon.
Danny Damrel and Tammy Harkleroad help
count Roadblock money.
Roadblock workers were pleased to sit down and rest
at the end of the day.
And exhausted but pleased crew engaged in an after
action critique of the Roadblock at the end of the day. Shown
