


The Kiwanis Club of Richmond inducted fifteen new members of into membership on Tuesday, July 28. Those present for the induction and orientation were: Front Row (l. to r.) Nora Shepherd, Antonia Wells, Rose Skepple, Doris Morton, Donna Masters, Iris Bisping, and Vickie Damrel.
Second Row (l. to r.) Steve Fardo, Kenneth Barger, St. Claire Skepple, Vergil Morton, Richmond Kiwanis President Ray DeSloover, Justin Moore, Glynn Tucker, and Lesia Tucker. Amanda Stepp was also inducted but was unavailable for the photo.
An additional five new members remaining to be inducted at a later time are: Steve Choate, Debra Cummings, Jan Desloover, Dr. Paul Foote, and Keeley Gadd.
Ray DeSloover, who organized this membership campaign which increased the club size by 35%, said he was pleased to welcome so many members with such diverse backgrounds and skills to serve the community.
The new Richmond Kiwanians were inducted by David Harkleroad, Richmond Kiwanis President-Elect; Dr. Kenneth Clawson, Past-Governor of the Kentucky Tennessee (K-T) District of Kiwanis; Joan Kleine, First Lady of the K-T District; and Dr. Glen Kleine, the 2009-2010 Governor of the K-T District.

International, called DeSloover to commend DeSloover for the club's
membership gains and for the many community betterment projects
of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond.
