Club Holds Successful 2010 Golf Tournament
The 2010 Richmond Kiwanis Scramble
was held at the beautiful Richmond Battlefield Golf Course.
Checking out his goodie bag. All
participants received goodie bags with various snacks and items
provided by local advertisers.

Many hole sponsors supported the
2010 Kiwanis Golf Scramble. Hole sponsors of the Second hole were
Refro's Paint and Collision (left) and the Kentucky State Muzzle
Loading Association.

Golf Course outlines the rules of competition before the teams
take off.
Richmond Kiwanis Club President
Ray DeSloover partnered with community leader Bill Strong in the
competition.

One of the aspects of the golf scramble
was an opportunity to win this 2011 Toyota Camry in the hole-in-one
competition. Ken and Bobbie Clawson were observers at the hole
to insure that the hole-in-one was made. No competitor won the
Camry.
Straight drives seemed to be the
order of the day.
Adam Poff, a former officer of
the Kiwanis Club of Richmond, returned to compete in the 2010
competition. Adam's job changed to Lebanon, KY where he affiliated
with the Kiwanis Club of Lebanon.
Partners gave considerable scrutiny
to a partners putt in this scramble since their score weighed
in the balance.
The weather couldn't have been better
for the 2010 golf scramble.
