2019-2020 Officers of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond:

President,Wayne Short; Secretary, Glen Kleine; Treasurer, Jennifer Napier; and Past-President, Wes Napier.

2019-2020 Board Members of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond:

Robert Blythe, 2018-20; Ken Clawson, 2019-21; Lisa Erickson, 2018-20; Dominick Hart, 2018-20;
Charlie Johnson, 2019-21; Karen Kelley, 2019-21; and Joan Kleine, 2019-21.

Kendra Skidmore, Governor of the Kentucky-Tennessee District of Kiwanis International installed all of the officers and board members of both the Kiwanis Club of Richmond and the Kiwanis Club of Irvine-Ravenna. Above Governor Kendra is installing Wes Napier of Richmond (left) and Jeff Hiz of Irvine-Ravenna as Past Presidents of their club. Both Jeff and Wes were responsible for organizing the annual joint installation of the clubs.

Joan Kleine was selected by the members of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond as the 2019 Kiwanian of the Year. She headed multiple projects for the club listed in the caption of the photo at the bottom of this series of photos.

Jennifer Napier was recognized by the Wes Napier for her exceptional leadership of the 2018 Annual Fundraising Pancake Breakfast.

Charlie Johnson was also recognized by the Wes Napier for his exceptional leadership of the 2019 Annual Fundraising Golf Scramble. Charlie was unable to attend this joint induction and the presentation of the recognition certificate will be presented later.

Joan Kleine was given one recognition certificate by the Wes Napier for her exceptional leadership of the Bring Up Grades (BUG) Programs at the Daniel Boone and Kit Carson Elementary Schools. She was given a second recognition certificate for her leadership in the Home Meals Delivery, Special Olympics, Kids Fest, and Halloween Hoe-Down Kiwanis programs.

Joan Kleine and girls from the Madison Central High School and the Model High School Key Clubs prepare to distribute candy to children in Richmond Kentucky during the 2019 Richmond Parks and Recreation Halloween Hoe Down. More than 1,100 children were given candy at this annual event.
