International Convention is held each year in the summer and usually begins the first weekend in August. At International Convention, members from all over the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean meet to elect a new International Board of Officers and celebrate the service they have done throughout the past year. Various awards are distributed recognizing the achievements and talents of Circle K clubs thorughout the world. These awards include the Kiwanis Family Relations Award, the People Mile Award, Club Achievement awards, the GEM awards, and awards for best newsletter, scrapbook, and single service project. There is also a talent competition and an Oratorical contest as well as several workshops and socials for members to participate in.
