Battlefield Golf Course

A Richmond Kiwanis Club Banner was displayed outside
of the Battlefield Golf Course Clubhouse
The trophy awarded to the winners. The foursome of William
Bryant, Jeremy Weakley, Josh Petry and Mason Bellamy won
first place in the 11th Kiwanis Twi-Light Golf Scramble held at
Battlefield Golf Course. Each team member won a $40.00 gift certificate
from the pro shop.
Second place team was Mike Weakley, Rick Hurt, Kevin Weakley
and Buddy Anderson. Each team member won a round of golf
including cart at Battlefield Golf Course valued at $20.00 each.
Both the golf and the eating was exceptionally good
There were lots of golf hazards at the tournament
Sonny's Barbecue catered the dinner - Dwight "Doc"
Barkley seems pleased.
Concentration was the order of the day
It was great to see Berea Kiwanians playing in the
tourney. The DZ helpers take a break.

Jacob Grant played with Kiwanian Virgil Grant, his
dad, and won a great door prize.
Putting is hard work so the DZ girls brought drinks
to the players
Special help during the tournament was provided by
the Delta Zeta Sorority from Eastern Kentucky University
Mark Calitri, the chairman of the 11th Annual
Tourney, and his son check out the golf course.
