Richmond Kiwanians Donate $6,000 Toward
Kiwanis Football Field
The Kiwanis Club of Richmond donated $6,000 toward
the development of the Kiwanis Football Field to be located in
the Lake
Reba Recreational Complex, a City
of Richmond Parks and Recreation facility off of Gibson
Bay Drive in Richmond. The funds will be used to help prepare
the football field and the bleachers for that field. David
Harkleroad (right), President of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond
presented a $6,000 check to the Richmond Youth Football and Cheerleading
League for the development of the field. Recipients of the check
were the Richmond Youth Football and Cheerleading League leaders
(left to right) Chuck Hardin, Vice President; Darrin
Slone, President; and Keith Long, Treasurer. The Kiwanis
Club of Richmond focuses its philanthropic work on supporting
youth in the Richmond/Madison County community. Kiwanis is a global
organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one
child and one community at a time.
